Hi everyone.
My husband has incurable urothelial cancer. He has been on treatment for 10 months now. It is a brand new treatment and the doctors said it should halt the tumours. We have come across someone who was on the trial for this treatment and 4 years later has had much better results than the doctors predicted.
Most of the time we trundle along well enough & try to stay positive. But my husband is struggling with side effects at the moment & feels dreadful most of the time. He broke down this morning & said he can’t do it any more.
He is due a break from treatment, so I tried to reassure him that he has time to recover now.
But my emotional well seems to be run dry at the moment. I feel like I have given everything I’ve got to him and our daughters who are both going through various issues at the moment and hate the fact that I almost feel emotionless now.
I feel like he needs support from the right places to get through these difficult patches.
Where is the best place to find that support for him?
Thank you
