My mum has bladder cancer which has spread to her adrenal gland, she is starting chemotherapy and Immunotherapy next week.

She has already fought , and beat, Breast cancer and Thyroid cancer in the past, but we have been told that the treatment is not curable.

I just feel so sad...I wake up in the early hours thinking about what she is going to miss....family milestones ...and just cry.

  • I found out just over a week ago that my mum has stage four lung cancer and there is no cure or treatment. She’s now at home with carers four times a day and I’m the space of a few weeks my whole life has been turned upside down. I know how you feel with the sadness and crying and when memories come up I  shoot them down and won’t alllow myself to think of them as I feel absolutely distraught. I seek solace in my cats and just the feel of them and then feel guilty for not being with my mum.24-7
