Hi….My husband was diagnosed with stage 4 metastatic kidney cancer on June 23rd, he was a fit & healthy 59 year old two month ago so we are in complete shock, no symptoms apart from tiredness and weight loss. I have a good network of friends but I dont want to burden them with my sadness and I feel so guilty. Everyone commenting on how strong I am but inside Im broken and scared
It happened like that for us too, my partner suddenly lost a lot of weight and was sleeping all the time, 2 months later she was diagnosed with terminal cancer, shock is an understatement, it takes your breath away. One minute you are living your best life then wham. Its terrifying, you have so many things fighting for space in your head. Do you have a prognosis? Sending you hugs x
Whatever cancer throws your way, we’re right there with you.
