Mum is now in hospital on a wait list for hospice. She is very ill and sleep most of the time. She knows we are there and will accept water from us. However, she looks disgruntled with us. She doesn’t want us to hold her hand and seems like she doesn’t want to hear us. It’s very har. Is this normal? It’s not like the movies, I thought we would be able to have some meaningful talks.
Sad in one way but happy that your mum is getting the support she needs; I hope you are able to take some time for you too because you are so right it is hard and not like it is in the movies,
<<hugs>>
Steve
