finding it overwhelming caring for husband who struggles with pain management & feels he will not be fit enough for surgery in 3 weeks
hate to see him in so much pain 8 reduced to tears tho he says my support in just being with him is more than enough . He has always been the strong part of our 42 year marriage- doesn’t often show emotion & definitely never let any pain take hold of him like this. I think this is part of why I find it so difficult as nothing has ever affected him like this & he feels powerless to do anything about it

Sorry to hear about your husband It is very difficult whenever a loved one is ill and with all the questions that come up around cancer it can be really challenging.
Hope some days are a bit better than others and that things work out for the operation.
