Can I ask how many of you have given up work to look after your loved ones? At the moment I have been signed off work and will get statutory sick pay and I think we will start to struggle in the next few months although we have just applied for PIP. We applied 5 years ago when he was diagnosed with AF and had a pacemaker fitted but were turned down.
My husband is far more settled now than 2 months ago so fingers crossed he would be ok if I went back
Ideally I would like to go back part time but am pretty sure my boss would not accept that, do they by law have to agree to change my hours? We have been given roughly a 2 year time frame for my husband so am not sure what to do
