Hi all,
my father has been diagnosed with lung cancer and has just started chemo and immunotherapy. He is being very quiet and has been having pain in his legs. (Now having steroids) He is not a talker and we are struggling to understand how best we can support him. Any ideas please on how to get him talking, so we can understand better.
Thankyou
Just gently say to him what you have just said here, that you want to be able to support him in the best way possible and for that you will need his help. Explain that you are all on this road together and will help each other. I think sometimes you just have to be open and clear about what you all need, this eliminates the possibility of crossed wires and misunderstandings xx
Whatever cancer throws your way, we’re right there with you.
We’re here to provide physical, financial and emotional support.
