Hi
My wife was diagnosed with unusable LPL 18 months ago . I have, very reduced my work hours to care for her and keep her hospital appointments .
But just feel alone sometimes as don't want to burden her with how low I feel sometimes. Am trying to get us back to Dorset so I can help from family but we are in social housing so difficult.
Seems the whole world is against us sometimes, so for the negatives

Hi Syrus1066 and welcome to the carers forum, hope you find it helpful.
Loneliness is a really common issue around people caring for someone with cancer, it is not usually welcomed as a great subject for conversation over a coffee but of course we know cancer is really quite common so therer are general more of us out there than we might expect.
There was a really good blog recently on the subject of loneliness we can read here.
So glad we have this forum to share on - as for your wife, I am sure she knows how you feel and is probably quite worried about the impact on you. In my experience mostly of course the world is just content to ignore us - because nobody wants to talk about cancer - until we have no choice.
Do keep talking, it really does help - at least in my experience.
<<hugs>>
Steve
