My husband was diagnosed with terminal gastric cancer in August 2020, he was given a prognosis of 3-4 years, he's been through 2x 6 month rounds of chemo and was due to start a 3rd, but he has now had a stroke, on top of all the issues his cancer is causing, this is just cruel, it's robbed his of his mind, he can't read properly any more and spends his days staring at the TV, has anyone else had to deal with with this and how do you remain positive,
Hi Sam44
Sorry to hear about your husband, we have dealt with cancer and with a stroke but not in the same person. It does often seem like life is cruel .
Have you got any help for you - if can be easy to lose ourselves in care, I know I did and then I broke before I came looking for help but then I found my tank was empty and I helped nobody.
<<hugs>>
Steve
