Hello.
I am a support to my husband ,who has prostate cancer, for the second time.
He was 57 the first time, and we seemed to cope ok.
This time he is still positive, but i am struggling with negative thoughts.
Hi Bellageorge
Sorry to hear about your husband, I guess having been through this once you had thought to have put this behind you.
Looking at your feelings when someone has cancer I know I see lots of the emotions I have gone through in my journey, my wife has Leiomyosarcoma.
One of the advantages of recognizing our emotions is that we can step back a little and then I can stop the emotion taking control - mostly.
Do keep posting and perhaps we can form a team to help each other cope.
<<hugs>>
Steve
Thankyou Steve.
It was a shock. Just cant seem to be as positive as last time.
Whatever cancer throws your way, we’re right there with you.
