Apologies for this - its been a bad start to the day and I just needed to tell someone.

Just dragged my husband around everywhere I can think of to get help with his obturator prosthesis (after a hemi-maxillectomy) which has stopped fitting - I think this could be down to growth of other tumours in the area, or inflammation from immunotherapy. Without a properly fiiting obturator he cannot talk, eat or drink properly. He has an appointment for next Tuesday to get a new one fitted, but we can't get help any sooner. Dentist tried, but couldn't help. Hospital have no staff competent to make adjustments who will be in before next Tuesday. Talked to 111 guy who ended up recommending that he pop into our local pharmacy - he really didn't understand the problem!

He has an appointment tomorrow to prep for next round of radiotherapy, which we have been waiting too many weeks for already - for which he needs the onturator in place.

Just feel like crying! Worried that by the weekend we'll be in A&E needing to get him tube fed. Really don't know what else to try.
