My husband has late stage liver cancer and following a failed attempt at surgery we met with the oncologist yesterday who has put him on a course of immunotherapy treatment. He wii have two drugs intravenously (atezolizumab & bevacizumab) administered every three weeks. We know this isn’t a cure and is an attempt to halt the growth of the tumour to buy more time. We listened, and read, about the side effects but I wondered if anyone on here had first hand experience of this treatment and could offer any advice.
Whatever cancer throws your way, we’re right there with you.
We’re here to provide physical, financial and emotional support.
