So it’s been 6 months since my husband was diagnosed with rectal cancer. He completed 5 weeks of chemo radiation and 6 weeks after he went for his scans. But the MRI is showing too much inflammation for surgery so instead of having his op and then 6 months of chemo the oncologist has started 3 months of chemo then surgery followed by 3 more months of chemo. They keep talking about curative treatment but it’s difficult to get your head around that when the cancer is still in him! I’m putting all my faith into the team to get us through this!
Whatever cancer throws your way, we’re right there with you.
We’re here to provide physical, financial and emotional support.
