Evening,
I'm so confused. My mum has widespread metastatic cancer. We are very blessed that she has absolutely no symptoms.
We were told she wouldn't see Christmas. But how do we know how she us doing? With there being no symptoms we are just plodding on blindly. Should the GP be doing blood tests or should she be having repeat CTs?
Thanks for your help. Sending strength to everyone.
Xx
Hello, I am sure it’s very difficult, the best person to advise you would be your mums oncologist. I am assuming your mum is not undergoing chemo or radiotherapy. I am not a Doctor, but not sure why there should be no symptoms, was your mums condition confirmed with a CT or MRI scan ? To advise you properly I would suggest you give MacMillan a call, as they have trained nurses who can advise you much better than me.
if you are able, please come back and let us know your findings.
keep strong
