My mum passed away bowel cancer 2 years ago and my Nan has recently just passed away with Dementia in February. I found out my mum missed so many appointments with her GP starting back in 2017 I feel so lost without both my mum and Nan
Hello
so sorry for your loss, I wish there were words I could say that would give comfort, but nothing takes away the heartache and intense sadness.
Do you live alone ? I find it easier in some ways, as I can please myself if I eat or not, or sleep till 2pm, but I also get extremely lonely and miss conversation and company. It’s hard to get the balance right. You might consider joining https://community.macmillan.org.uk/cancer_experiences/bereaved-spouses-and-partners-forum
there’s lots of kind support there
take care
