Hey!
After losing my Dad to cancer 13 years ago I now face the same with my Mum. She has been diagnosed with bowel cancer which has spread to her liver. I don’t think she has long left. She’s lost so much weight, needs blood transfusions every 6 week due to having severe anaemia, she is also very short of breathe. I live 40 minutes away from her and I’m working full time. I just don’t know where to turn. she is still able to walk with a stick, wash herself and make food (not that she’s eating much) but these everyday tasks are becoming more difficult. Is there any help out there that you can recommend? I feel mentally drained but I’m trying to stay strong. I just worry about how I will deal with this once she is unable to manage the basics.
Thank you
