Hello, my mother recently had a radical surgery (lots of bits removed) and is due to start radio and chemo therapy soon at Barts hospital in London. She isn't entitled to any benefits and we have a blue badge assessment due next week. I wondered if anyone has claimed back conjestion charge fees and how they went about it. The information available isn't clear and I've read they need to assess her, surely having chemo after a radical operation qualifies her for a reimbursement. Since she'll virtually have no immune system she can't really travel on public transport or the patient reansport services.
