Today our wonderful palliative care nurse prescribed the ‘ just in case’ medication. Even though in my heart I knew my lovely husband had declined in the last month, this really makes it seem real. I’m lying here next to him knowing how scared he is and feel pretty helpless.
Oh Carpetbagger, my heart's breaking for you. I'm dreading the day we reach that stage in this cruel journey.
