Not really sure if this is the right place or right thing to do, but I'm totally broken and don't know where else to turn. I lost my beautiful most amazing mum on Friday to cancer. She was only told the Friday before that it was terminal
Hi rainbow1
So sorry to read about your mum and really glad you reached out on here. I remember well the first time I walked in to a Maggie's centre like you feeling totally broken.
I know when my dad died things fell slightly surreal for a couple of weeks while almost the automation of planning, funeral, wills etc. There is quite a lot of practical information in our pages on Coping with bereavement
If you find it might be helpful to talk to someone of course there is help available here but you might also try the loss foundation
<<hugs>>
Steve
