My husband has had tumour removed from lung and has now been diagnosed with terminal lung cancer cells we live on our own and haven't great family support and I/we find it hard to talk about it he starts chemo today to try and keep cancer at bay I'm so up and down every day , would love to hear from others in same diagnosis.
Hello there.
Not great actually. Pretty depressing around here. Had a video call with the consultant pain docs and they want to do a steroid injection as well as hospice for 2 weeks. I feel so guilty if I ever go out to do anything fun or for me. It's always a hardship here at home when I do.
Has your husband tried gingerale or camomile tea? May help. Fennel might work as well tea wise. Yuck, nothing worse and its so hard when they won't call or allow you to!
Hang in there.
Thanks for checking in,
T.
