Hey everyone,
I know I've promised it before and broken my promise because too many things were going on in my own life at the time. But now, at the beginning of 2022, I really want to make the commitment to be here regularly and offer support to those wonderful carers that you are. As some of you here may know, I lost my husband Paul in May of 2018, and in the months leading up to his death, this group was an amazing support for me. I am hoping that I can give back something now that I have more time and head-space.
Lots of love to everyone,
Mel.
Hi
how kind of you to do this. I have no idea how I am going to cope with losing my partner and can only thank people like yourself for being there. My brother in law died from the same awful disease ten years ago and the only person I know who truly understands how I feel is my sister in law. We were so worried to tell her as I thought it might bring all the horror and heartbreak back for her but she has said the opposite and feels it is her “privilege “ to support us. Your help is invaluable . Thank you Kim x
