Holidays are so exciting! I am like a small child when I'm going away, my youngest and I do the crab dance, it embarrasses the eldest, particularly in the airport.
We are thinking of getting away for a couple of nights at the weekend, will book Thursday if I am feeling up to it.
Have a great time Carol, want to hear all about your adventures xx

Fab picture Christine! Glad you had some laughs.
Carol, think Sheffield was the perfect choice for a wet day, it's a beautiful city, one of my favourites! I love lunch at Valerie Patisere, a real treat!
Excited, we have booked a log cabin weekend in North Yorkshire for this Fri-Mon. On the North York Moors and near the coast, so looking forward to fun days and board game evenings by the fire, we all need a break!
Well best go and force this All Bran down, got to keep regular lol!
Love to all xx
Enjoy your Sheffield in the wet, Carol! (never been to that shopping centre, hope you have plenty of plastic, haha!)
Christine, have loved seeing your photos, keep 'em coming!
Jakki, sounds a perfect break, am sure you will enjoy it....
Hugs to all xxx

Hello all & a special hello to the Brighton Belles, hope there's been lots of laughter
Christine, not a holiday in Sheffield, just a day out,i won't go away & stay, not too good out of my comfort zone
Had a last minute change of plan,Ali was poorly so we decided to go to Northamptonshire, for some reason we thought Oundle would be nice, sorry to anybody that lives there but we just had a cuppa & cake then moved on to Northampton & had a lovely walk round the shops (slightly damp but who cares when you're on holiday) had a lovely lunch in a pub called the moon in the square,i had steak & kidney pudding & it was lovely, would recommend anybody that goes there to try it,we found a little place selling Italian cakes & pastries,i have no idea what most of them are but i brought a big bag back for you all to share, help yourselves, the little filo pastry ones with the lemon custard are particularly nice,we then went on to Kettering & found a lovely, proper old fashion tea room & vintage shop & they do loose tea in a pot, lots of hand holding & mooching today & fits of hysterical laughter on the way home when him indoors got lost (twice) & decided to resort to satnav which sent him the way i told him to go (twice!!) that's what comes of being a lorry drivers daughter & spending more time with dad than mum durring holidays, him in doors is now deciding where to go tomorrow & i'm decided what cds to take so i can sing to him
Jakki, that sounds lovely & i hope you all have a good time, can't beat an evening playing board games,we sometimes have the neighbours round & have a silly evening, elf racing is hillarious
Christine, could you give Kim a big hug for me & ask her to show you the tattoo i had done the other day,i'd love to share it with you all but it's taken me 4 months to work out how to change my avatar so posting a photo will be a while away yet
Hope all have had a good day
Love & hugs
xx
It sounds as if you had a lovely day.
I also had a good day meeting two friends from this site in Glasgow for lunch. Well, a long lunch! Plus I managed some shopping before I met them :)
have just decided tomorrow I am going to the cinema for the first time on my own inspired by Siobhan. I'm going to see woman in gold. Keep your fingers crossed I manage to convince myself to leave the house tomorrow.
your pastries sound lovely, will help myself later.
Pleased you had a good day, lunch & shopping, can't be bad,not been to Glasgow for years, used to go there many years ago for the speedway, several of us used to make a holiday of it & go to Berwick, Glasgow & Edinburgh & do a bit of site seeing while we were north of the border,i hope you manage to get to the cinema, that's one place i'm happy to go on my own,i may have to go to a concert on my own later in the year,Big Country are coming to Spalding & nobody wants to go with me
xx
Mmm pastries, don't mind if I do! Sounds like everyone has had a lovely day. I had a really lazy one, feeling a bit tired so did a lot of reading and even had lunch brought to me (hubby worked from home today). Hoping for a burst of energy tomorrow, think chemo number 9 has knocked me for 6!
Kettle's boiled if anyone wants a cuppa xxx
