Beautiful, starting my day with a smile, thanks guys xx
Certainly is a magical place. We spent lots of time around there many moons ago.
Admiring the views is about as far as we could get to climbing up to most of those viewpoints now :-)
He certainly would Christine, glad you are enjoying it x
Hi Mary,
im in the Lake District. Near windermere. I wish I had the stamina to do the big climbs again, after a few years out to deal with Cancer im building up my strength slowly, can manage 5 miles now, but not the steep climbs.
christine, Ray would be really proud of you rebuilding a new life. Have a good day.
Love Windermere, used to go camping and caravanning up there. I've never been a hill walker I'm afraid. We did take one of the Goat buses around the area, glorious. I'm strictly built for comfort! And coffee!
Have a lovely day with a new friend Christine, enjoy the moment. X
Plenty of places for coffee round here, and cake mandatory with coffee of course.
the goat is a good idea so you can both look at the scenery and not have to negotiate our windy narrow roads. I'm all for it, especially if it keeps the tourists off the roads with their unpredictable breaking, and just stopping suddenly to look at the view when I'm trying to get to an appointment.
I'm on the southern edges of Shropshire, just over the border in West Mids! I do love to see it, but hate that flat slap of smell hitting the schnozzola! I was just going to put , but auto correct gave me that beauty! Suffolk Punches! Never been to Suffolk, but I've discovered I'm painfully ignorant of my glorious country. Something I plan to rectify!
What a glorious view George! You are blessed. I'm on a main urban drag, but I have a screen of the most glorious trees, unfortunately it includes a sycamore, but a most beautiful beech. I love to watch the world go by, and the bad driving! X
