Morning all,
Popped in for some tea and toast, it was a stormy night but quiet in here now
Kettle on
Gentle hugs

Here on holiday we knew it had been windy (here in Bexhill it's been windy all the time!) but we woke to a sunny day so spent the best of it going out to another interesting place, Michelham Priory, a beautiful ancient house in big lovely grounds, a working forge and a working water mill.
We've been out and about each day, the windy, sometimes wet, days haven't stopped us enjoying our holiday.
The little kiosk on the sea front is renowned for amazing old fashioned 'bread pudding' in chunky squares, I bought some and they were just too much for us so have left a few in the fridge, very spicy and tasty! There's some white wine too.....!
Hugs to all

Morning all, it's early I know but need a top up of tea, the faeries are busy preparing food for later but have kindly popped the kettle on for me.
Post treatment fatigue is messing up my body clock, I got home around 7pm after treatment on Friday and yesterday pottered around the house and garden, before popping to the shops in the afternoon to buy a birthday card for my neice .
This morning I'm hoping to meet up with some friends for a coffee around 11am hoping I'll be awake then!
Sweet dreams

Hi Moira,
Hope you managed to stay awake!
It's chilly today with a northerly wind so the faeries have kindly lit the wood burner stove, and I've snuggled up nearby on the big comfy chair. There's a hot kettle if anyone wants tea or another hot drink, and if you want soup, I made a big pot of that from the glut of home grown tomatoes and basil!
Hugs to all xxx

Hi Moomy,
Nice and comfy in here this evening, I missed out on my coffee with friends as I felt so groggy, but managed a walk on the local park, the Acer trees were lovely and autumn seems on it's way.
Just had a lovely fish pie and popped the remaining portion in the larder, the soup sounds delicious, will try that tomorrow, for now I'll have a mug of tea and maybe a hot chocolate later
Hugs xx
Hi Moira and anyone else,
What a beautiful morning! The faeries opened up the door to let a bit of fresh air in but it's still warm in here.....
Made a cracking apple and blackberry crumble to have later with dinner, I portioned it out so if anyone wants a sneaky spoonful of three, help yourself!
Coffee is on and there's tea for non coffee drinkers....
Hugs xxx
Moomy
Diane the crumble must have been delicious for it to go so quickly!
Thanks Moomy. Sorry, can't make crumble either, well, Mum could and it reminds me too much of her to make it now!
I'm sitting down to chicken, potato and carrots. Only fresh food says the doctor for my IBS :(
Oh dear will have to hide those ready meals until it settles down
