I'm just having a glass of wine. What I really need to go with it is a huge bar of chocolate!

I'm feeling really tired today, not normal tired.  There's a bug going round, so I think I've got it.  Oh well, forced to relax and watch the olympics a bit.

Sorry you are not feeling great Helen. Yes, rest and eat chocolate.

I've just popped in with a chocolate cake, please do eat some, everyone!

Yes, very odd! 

But I do enjoy that programme, so much less back-biting than other knock out programmes, all you need is a glance from Paul or a frown from Mary and you know it's wrong!

I really enjoyed last nights GBBO. It made me laugh, hubby's favourite biscuit/cake in all the world is a jaffa cake. He never imagined you could male them at home. Then why would you.lol

Bet they're not as good anyway! I like them when they've been opened for a while and gone hard.  Am I weird?!

Helen, that's what defines them as a cake, not a biscuit! Apparently that then qualifies them as VAT exempt, where biscuits are charged VAT....logic? Nope!

Made a big cheesecake, and it has sliced strawberries on top, there's some left so thought I'd pop it in here rather than try to eat too much.....

Hope you've all had a sunny bank holiday, it's been lovely here. We've had Civil War re-enactors on the Common, so there were a few noisy cannons being set off around 3pm, hope nobody was trying to catch up on some sleep!
