Good evening all!
Oo... you should have got those tatoos out on display for the paper to get pics! Tatoos not really my thing, although I've a fondness for piercings although as yet I've not persuaded William to let me have the ones I want!
What turned into a busy day here today! - Didn't start well, as I got into bed a bit before 2 AM, with William... and he falls straight asleep... I tried to sleep and tried, and gave up some time round 5 AM, when I got up and came down, putting on the kettle and drinking cup after cup of tea, whilst listening to my IPod, letting William sleep in until gone 9 (when we said we'd get up).
William went of to sort a 'few things' out at his house, whilst I pottered sleeply about the house, tidying up some laundry that hadn't got put away and doing a few bits of tidying and cleaning...
Then I got a phonecall from William; one of his free offers of help with his moving had offered to help him today, so rather than just packing more things up, he turns up mid-afternoon with a van load full of books, and books and books! - and heavy boxes of vynal and CDS too!
As William's got a hernia at the moment I got to carry them all up the staircase and to where we're storing things for now. - Left me quite exausted, and after a late lunch, we've only just woken from a nap!
now time to go ffind something to cook for dinner I think.
Still desperatley tryign to sort out the right order for doing things at the house here, awkward as it will inevitably require some duplication; moving things from one room to another whilst one room is done, then back again, etc.
Really need an electriction to do a few fixes round the house before getting to painting and decorating level, but sadly that will be held up as the hallway is full of the junk to be collected by the council, thereby blocking access to the fuse box, and the soonest date I could arranged the collection of the junk is not until the 16th of this month; Dont' forget I'm on a bit of a mission to get as much of the house repaired, restored, replaced etc, by the 26th of May, which is our wedding date! Argh!
That nap helped though. have some tuna steaks I defrosted to cook tonight, done in the oven with pepper and onions I think, and with some wild rice pilaf to accompany it...
hope everyone else is as OK as possible
Hi everyone,
A bottle of fizz is in the fridge, ready for the faeries to open for all of you as you pop in.....have left a choccy cake too.
I'm really tired, will be worse by the end of next week, note to self: try not to take on two choral groups running at the same time!
Anyone want tickets for Tuesday's 'Mikado', tickets are not going well for Tuesday, although the rest of the week is looking as if they are selling well.......? (Yes it is in Milton Keynes!)
Daughter is in the on stage band for the north of England's Anton and Erin's dance show, apparently he is tickled pink still at having got to the final on 'Strictly'! (There are 3 bands, south, north and Scotland)
Love to you all

Hi Helen,
'Fraid not, wish I had.....I'm just in the chorus, mostly sitting on a sofa! We are trying to cover the expenses of hiring the theatre, to be honest! (Not cheap as there have to be backstage rooms available too)
I've had to get my own costume together this time, too....set in 1980s-1990s Japan in a clothing company! Wigs a-plenty......! Sometimes the troupe hire stuff for us but not this time.
