Haha Mary, that's a good one, we have a nice sunny morning again here so will be in the garden this afternoon, had a lovely evening last night a taster ladies pamper evening had a nice facial massage and Nails filed and painted still look nice this morning so trying not to spoil them doing too much housework.

Hope your visits to the dentist are not too troublesome Mary, I have a lovely dentist but doesn't stop me from shaking as I near that chair, hope yours soon sorts as thinking of bringing toffee to share in the near future.

Moomy any more shortbread left? It was lovely I once won an award for shortbread (local fete) but haven't made it for a long time. Didn't get any of the cheesecake it had all gone what flavour was it? I couldn't tell from the crumbs left on the plate. But oh those dainty sausage rolls were delicious nice change from all the sweetness of late.

Jakki I enjoyed the flake thanks I'm really a cadbury's girl at heart I force others down but get my real pleasure there I imagine myself in the boat from the advert along time ago sailing down the river with the crumbliest flakiest chocolate, taste like chocolate never tasted before. Oh dear showing my age now.

Well must get on, hope your all having a relaxing weekend xxx

    Hi Carol,

Hope you had a nice relaxing bath and its your party so you can cry if you want to, and in the bath nobody knows and you can blame the steam for making your mascara run. I think it really helps to have a good cry, release all those pent up emotions, then dust yourself down and carry on. You are dealing with so much at the moment and you do need to let go of it sometimes. So hope you felt better and had a good nights rest, I won't say sleep as sometimes a good nights sleep is hard to come by, but hope you feel rested. The trifle was lovely and I whipped the cream and piped it on to the lemon curd tarts something my mum used to make a long time ago lovely thank you.

Moomy, the extra sausage rolls really helped when I was awake during the night, but think I may need the indigestion tablets now, I knew I shouldn't have had so many, they were lovely thank you.

Mary, Anymore jokes? hope the teeth are okay and your not in too much pain.

Jakki, Hope your legs are not too stiff after your bike ride, and hope your sons weekend went well, I remember those days both my sons were in the local RAF cadets and did their Dof E its very good for them, where are they doing the expedition? you have got some lovely areas for it both mine did their bronze expedition at Edale.

Well an early start for me and lots to do, getting extra washing dry as the hubby took a dip in the canal while kayaking the other day, hoping no lasting effects, but glad it wasn't me.

Well lets hope were in for a good week weather set good for a few days so out  with the washing while I can.

Take care everyone and thanks for all the goodies, I'm going for the healthy option this morning a nice  fresh fruit salad left in the fridge for you next to the left over cream if you want to add the calories, oh and fresh coffee in the pot and croissants keeping warm in the oven, when they are all gone can someone remember to put the oven off please thank you faeries if your about xxxx

Hi all, fruit salad yum I can eat fruit even when I have yuck mouth from the chemo. It's good really that my taste buds won't do chocolate, cake or biscuits in the first 5 or so days after my treatment-means I am not putting any weight on with the steroids!

D of E is great isn't it? The Castleton area is where he did his practice he does Silver in July, made me laugh that all his clothes were clean when he got back apart from the ones he went in! He said it was too cold night and morning to get changed. Can't say I blame him but did direct him straight to the bath when he returned!

Carol, hope you feel a bit brighter today, I had a bit of a blip yesterday, very grumpy and tearful not sure whether it's chemo or steroids but I could have stayed in bed all day!

Think I might just have a drop of cream on this fruit salad, well I'm worth it lol

Hope everyone finds something to smile about today.

    love Jakki xx
