  • Christine, that's really good news! Well, sorry it was cancer but pleased it's just squamous cell. So relieved for you, I've been thinking of you.

You are NOT a wimp, you've already had your share!

Brilliant news Christine, you are not a wimp everything is such a worry - even more so with what you have dealt with.  The bad things have to run out sooner or later - so perhaps this is the start!!!

Well done Gillian, the only thing is I actually missed going when my treatment was finished as going somewhere every day for 4 weeks gets habit forming - the people were lovely and I met some very nice people in the waiting room, all there for the same reason, so everyone understood and chatted and gave advice.  Hope it continues to go well.  I am always available if you want to ask anything - not that I have all the answers just know what you are going through.

Lots of love to all.  Jasmin xx

Good News Christine, I think I might have thought much the same thing myself.

Gillian, pleased to hear another one down.

    Regards

  • Good to see you popping in here, Ian!

Gillian, glad you are ticking those sessions off, it is tiring though, take it steady!

Christine, hope you've recovered from the worry a bit....

Jasmine, hope you are ok today?

Carol, hope you haven't taken on too much work? And that your kittens are sobering up a touch as they are getting older!

Me, I have a pain in the neck - it's been bad since Sunday, tried the home traction kit for a couple of days but with no effect, can't take anti-inflammatory drugs or creams, so it's just pain relief and hot and cold packs as I can. Called the GP, 'will call you back' called our excellent physios 'will call you back' argh!!!!

    Hugs to all xxx

Thanks Jasmin,  I had radiotherapy  before and it seemed to mess with my head. I couldn't see any results, it was a weird feeling. Chemo you see going in, then you feel ill etc. Somehow you can feel something happening.

Hopefully I will be better this time around.

    6 down 9 to go.

Best wishes to everyone and hugs all round

I start Chemotherapy on February 16th. Today I had a CT. Next week I have doctors and tests almost everyday. My new life for the next couple of months I guess. I have a wig appointment on Tuesday. The chemotherapy scares me the most
