Hello everyone,
the title says it all, this is a thread for everyone at any and all hours of day and night, to post, help, laugh, cry and anything in between. There will be no nasty posts, everyone who joins in will be gentle, considerate and kind to everyone else. Hugs to all......xxx
Hello from 'oop north!
I survived my testing week.....
Hope you are all doing as well as possible, I would have loved a make over Carol, (think I need one, you look lovely without!)
Jakki, thank you......bless you!
Gillian, hope the chemo treated you well
Jasmin, thinking of you, lovey.
Christine, counting the hours to Paris yet? Are you packed?
Lynda, I bet you are now thinking, oh no, my languid waves need to come to an end ready to come back soon, enjoy every last moment...
Keith, thinking of you and lovely Rosemary...
radio broadcast was live, scary and I was FAR more nervous about that than today's Zip World challenge from Snowdonia, that was exciting, fast and fun!
broadcast in case anyone wants to listen? before the link dies, that is? http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/p030ks0x and its some way in....at 1.15

Moomy
Group hello & wave
Moomy you are too kind & thank you for those kind words,so pleased you enjoyed the zip wire,i'd never have done it,i'm too much of a wimp,i will have a listen to you on the radio on tuesday while i'm home alone
My babies are getting more & more daring by the day & are now waiting at the front door with Polly when it's feeding time, they then rush ahead of you & hide in the lavender & ambush you as you go past,Medusa is still trying to climb up legs when you stand still while Willow is a little more patient but does meow pathetically while you put the food in the dish, the kittens have certainly changed Polly, she now plays with them & chases sticks when you trail them along the grass, mind you when she's had enough she bats one of them round the ear then pins them down & gives them a wash
I do hope all are well & have had as good a weekend as is possible
Sending love & hugs to all
xx

Do you get the video as well moomy, you are one brave lady.
Hi Gillian, yes, you get a short free video, but we both used the GoPro cameras on our helmets to make our own ( borrowed mine from son) and daughter has been loading those videos into DropBox for us! Mine had lots of grunts as I had to get into position and then as they fastened me up into the harness, daughter said I sounded like my hubs! But I was right as I remembered, just an 'oh wow' as we set off and another 'wow' as the ground dropped away and i was over the lovely blue lake.
The whole site uses part of what is almost a disused slate quarry in Snowdonia, and the organisation is growing and new planning is up ready to form a better and bigger slate built reception area including a restaurant. Pity really, as the little snack bar is run by three lovely ladies doing a great service, who are busy and jolly. They said they won't be there when it expands.
hope everyone is doing ok today, I will be off home later, back to my normal fairly busy life. Hubs was so reassured that it was all over, he naturally felt worried but I was able to keep in touch of course, with the magic of the mobile phone!
Daughter even used an amazing feature that enabled her to do live streaming, showing the world what was going on, also of course about the reason for doing it, raising funds for the Christie Hospital ( her aim is to help fund a transplant suite) and hubs joined in to watch that too, having to open a twitter account to do so!
Hugs for you all xxx
