Good evening all,
Thank you for asking after us, better day today we have had friends round this afternoon for tea and cake which helps to take your mind off things a bit, during their stay District Nurse came, mattress topper was delivered, perching stool was delivered Pallative care nurse rang and OT rang.
You are making good progress with your painting Lynda, what a sense of achievement, but please take note of when you need a break even a couple of days resting will do you good. I must say I do enjoy painting, I am planning on decorating the study, I want to paint somewhere green so maybe in there.
Christine, glad you are getting out and meeting new friends, especially people who completely understand and whose lives are adapting to change like yours. Glad the counselling is helping.
How many kittens are you keeping Carol? It will be so hard to see them go but nice to know they will have good homes especially as they are wandering and getting adventurous and now you will be at work they will have more time to explore and get themselves into mischief.
Hope you are ok Gillian and the side effects soon pass.
Moomy hope your daughter soon feels better and you take care of yourself also.
Love to all Jasmin xx
Poor Polly has nowhere to get a few moments peace now Christine,at the minute she's hideing under a bush but i fear that befor long even there will not be a safe place for her, they'll be 7 weeks old on sunday, hard to believe that 8 weeks ago we were plodding along quite happily having no idea that in a few days my life would be turned tits up & that i'd be starting out on a new adventure, thank you for your good wishes,i'm really rather nervous about it as i don't know anybody that i'll be working with
Lynda you really must slow down & rest that arm,i'm sure one day off won't do any harm
How long has Jakki gone away for,i do hope she's having a good time
xx
We are keeping one Jasmin & she's called Willow, pleased you've had a better day today, sounds like you need a rest too after all those visitors & phone calls today
xx
Evening one and all, it is lovely to hear about all your doings.
Please don't overdo it Lynda. It is not worth agravating lymphodeama.
Sounds like Mike is ae little better Jasmin, best wishes to you both
I hope that the kittens appreciate all your hard work on their behalf, they do sound cute. .
Thanks for all your good wishes I do appreciate them.
Thanks all for your concern. I get the message!
Tomorrow I promise to wear a heavy duty compression sleeve and use the right arm only. I suspect the problem today was caused by using a roller, so will also go back to my brush.
i need to get this bedroom and the lounge finished by next Thursday. Then I'm away for a weekend, working for two weeks, then in Turkey for a week.
Hello one & all
How are we all today,i've had a very lazy day today, went out for breakfast with my little mate & her mum, painted, decorated & put together a clock & painted a house shaped money box, think my project tonight will be to either paint a fan or do some reading, will be home alone tonight :-)
Kittens seem to grow every day & now seem to spend most of their time on the patio waiting for me to go outside so they can trip me up,Medusa was eyeing the washing up earlier,i think she had the idea that Vinces trouser leg would make a good swing
xx
Evening. The thought of kittens swinging from a trouser leg made me laugh out loud.
Went and got my hair cut really short today. It was coming out in chunks this morning. Get the hats out
Sounds like a nice day.
I went to the gym then took advantage of a rare dry day and dug up the weeds on our front path. Then instead of cleaning, I've sat most of the afternoon posting nonsense for the miserable cows club. I think we've all lost the plot.
I'm watching Pointless now.
Tomorrow I'm taking my mum shopping and going for lunch.
Life in the fast lane xx
Weeble I. Love pointless. I also like two tribes which is on BBC two immediately after pointless
She didn't quite manage to get there but she did have a good go,Polly has just been trying to get in through the window & pud's having none of it,they look so cute talking to each other but i fear there will be bloodshed should they ever be in the house together,i'm going to take more photos of kittens tomorrow as the boys are going to their new home on saturday,i wish i could get them on here for you all to see
Now you may have lost the plot Weeble,i on the other hand have never had one to loose,my dad has always said i'm not quite right in the head,i went to the gym a couple of weeks ago & had a very pleasant evening drinking wine, eating burgers & watching my friends grandaughter doing gymnastics,i'm not big on exercise
Bless you Gillian, apart from the hair how are you doing
Think everybody else must be having a snooze
xx
Hi, I'm here, just sitting quietly after another day painting. I didn't do as much today though, just the final coat on the second bedroom walls and the first coat of gloss. Should get that room finished tomorrow. I also had another trip to b & q for more supplies.....one shop I hate.
Left ft to come back here early, and I'm now sat quietly. Drinking a raspberry alcoholic ginger beer. The weather has been lovely here today, hope the sun is shining where you are tonight.
