Christine,i forgot to say that moodgym is cbt on the internet,i did get enrolled earlier,you fill in questionares & then they assess how depressed (i was moderate to high) & how anxious you are (i was high) then i'm not sure what happens as concentrating was giving me a headache,i'll have another look tomorrow & let you know how i get on

I had a call about 30 mins ago from the bowling alley asking me to go for an interview tomorrow for the cleaners job

Hehe, me rest? I should koko.....But I will try! I just picked fruit and runner beans this evening, have bagged up a whole lot of blackberries for our son who is planning to pop in tomorrow. 

Carol, that's great! Just knew you'd get lots of job offers! I think you should carry on with this mood gym, it sounds as if it might be a good way of dealing with all the emotional stuff you've been experiencing. Glad you've got Medusa purring, you'll maybe have her for keeps?

Hi Fifi and welcome to this place, if you look back a page or so I described the room, it's a place of friendship, calm and beauty. Whatever happens I'm sure your son will succeed in some way! Please, never ever blame yourself (though I know as caring parents we do just that!) 

Christine, those colouring books are very up to date, it's a great way of gaining concentration and a diversion from all your thoughts, it's a therapy in itself! 

Gillian, I really hope that the reduced doses help and that they work really well for you....

I have any started to spoil the colouring books yet still have that concentration problem.

I'm off to bed now as I had a rubbish sleep last night and I'm getting up at 5 tomorrow morning. We're driving to Blackpool for the day. I'm going to go on the Big One for the first time. I've never had the nerve before but I reckon, if I can deal with cancer, I can handle a 235ft high roller coaster.

I have to do it now I've said it don't I? Oh dear.

Oh dear Christine you have now put a picture in my mind of me sliding down the alley in my socks to polish it,it's cleaning the loos & hoovering carpets & polishing tables etc,you won't spoil the books,you will bring colour to a picture & enjoy doing it

I've been back & done the first module on moodgym,it was very interesting,they give you different senarios of events then explain why people feel why they do about things,i now have some homework befor i can start the next one

Moomy you are always so busy,i do hope you wont go nodding off the day we come to see you,i'd hate to have to creep up on you & go boo

I'VE GOT A JOOOOOOB,it's a proper on the payroll job at the bowling alley,saturday,sunday & monday for 3 hours cleaning,not the alleys or the bar,i'm there to do a proper clean of the tables,floors toilets & all the bits customers see but staff don't,i'm soooooooooooo happy,he said he had a good feeling about me,there's extra hours when the other cleaner is on holiday & maybe next door at the nightclub,he also said that there's potential for me to be the senior cleaner & do the ordering,i start a week on sunday

So pleased you won't be sleeping when we come to see you Moomy,i'd hate to have to take a photo of you slumbering & snoring

oh dear, Mr Bean in the car. It's dry in the Lakes right now.....but not for long I expect!
