Well that's it. We exchanged contracts this morning so I'm committed now. I get the keys Friday. Not sure whether to smile or cry.
hope everyone is having a good day.
sister, I would love a little mews, but I want a tabby female! I think I need to wait until I have moved anyway.
Yay,that's good news Lynda, hope the move goes smoothly for you, have you got the furniture chosen or will that be the next job on the list
Sorry i don't have a female tabby to give you as a housewarming present, they're getting more adventurous now & there wasn't as much hissing this afternoon when i went to them while Polly was eating & they didn't run away this time when i spoke to them so hopefully they'll soon be eating out of my hand just like their mummy
xx
Lynda, I am sure this move will be a good one, feeling it in my bones!
Sister, glad the kittens are getting accustomed to humans, there must be a touch of the wild in Polly as they don't always take their young right out of view away from human contact like that?
Any news, Jakki? Been thinking of you
Hugs xxx

I think it's more my fault that they didn't have human contact,we knew they were near as we could hear them mewing but i kept saying to Vince they were obviously safe so it was best to leave them incase she moved them again, maybe i should have looked harder for them & she did take one indoors when it needed a good feed & some peace & quiet, she's too keen on getting in the house & having fuss to have any wild in her
I've been thinking about Jakki too,bet she's spent a fortune on new clothes for her holiday
xx
I have chosen most of it but need to get it ordered now. It's going to be a busy few weeks.
i think you were right not to disturb Polly when the kittens were young. The last thing you wanted was for her to move them off somewhere. I'm sure they will come round to you quite quickly now.
I agree, glad you didn't bother Polly when the kittens were tiny, she could easily have decided on the compost heap (or worse!) rather than by the side of the shed, after all!
Lynda, I think you will enjoy deciding on a theme for your new place.....now that it's certain you are going ahead.
Hugs to all xxx

I've just had 20 minutes with Polly on my knee in the garden, all purr & demanding a belly rub then went to see kittens,a couple are still hissing but the others are starting to calm down a bit now
How exciting Lynda ordering all that new furniture,i'd like to completely redo our kitchen but it's rented,we can decorate but we can't lay new carpets or tile the floor & we have to keep the bathroom suite & kitchen as it was when we moved in
Looks like rain here now, better get the washing in befor it's wet again
xx
