Yes, isn't the weather awful? Sister Snail it sounds as if you are starting up several new careers all at once! 

Hubs just saw lady blackbird steal some of our fruit, so, while I don't object to the birds having some, wet as it was, we simply had to go out and pick! 

Now 2 damp folk are sitting drying out again, but with blackberries, loganberries and blueberries washed and in the fridge! 

Hope you all are content with life indoors since it is madness to be out in it.....

Ok, I cannot contain my curiosity any longer.....what is a cake and wand stall? 

Whatever it is I'm pleased it was successful.

Oh Moomy,that poor blackbird may have been feeding babies & you've now left them to starve,mind you we would have done the same,will you freeze,jam or pie the fruit

It's a stall selling cakes & wands Lynda,i baked lots of little cakes & tarts & mum,dad & father in law made me some big cakes & Vince has a talent for making wands,we are going to have a permanent unit there selling wands & wotnots

A cake and wand stall, sounds fab! 

I am going to Corsica on holiday, we have a villa in a small hamlet in the hills. No shops but a mobile grocer selling cheese, wine, bread and fruit. There are loads of really good walks so have bought a decent map and look forward to exploring.

Lynda, you are amazing, you will be fine with the move and if you need to have a rant you know where we are.

Ooh Moomy, if you make some jam I will bring the crumpets.

Sister Snail, yes I know Mrs Blackbird might be feeding little ones but I think she had quite a lot before hubs even saw, and there are lots more too! Wands? Do tell more.....we are all wanting to know!

And yes, Jakki, I did make some redcurrant jelly already......it's the beautiful dark red clear jelly in the little pots in the cupboard above the sink.......
