Hello everyone,
the title says it all, this is a thread for everyone at any and all hours of day and night, to post, help, laugh, cry and anything in between. There will be no nasty posts, everyone who joins in will be gentle, considerate and kind to everyone else. Hugs to all......xxx
Had the morning with my ex-manageress,i guess now we no longer work together we're friends, few tears, lots of talk about what happened but most importantly lots of laughing, both of us are still very hurt & angry but getting better
I now know for sure Polly's behind the compost heap,i saw her come from there when i fed her this afternoon, she then proceeded to wind herself round my legs & stick her tail up my skirt while i was pegging washing out,as you know she likes a bit of fuss so i sat down & she got on my knee, rolled on her back & went to sleep
How did the marsheling go jakki
Hope all are having a good day
Love & hugs
xx
Glad you are getting on with life sister, it has been a distressing few weeks for you.
I went to the oncologist yesterday. They want to start chemo and herceptin a fortnight today. They are suggesting that I have weekly chemo using taxel which is a more gentle dose than the three weekly cycles. Has anyone heard of this.
Just as I am starting to get better as well. Such is life
Hello all, I'm back.
such a lot going on. Glad you have made a decision sister, and it sounds as if it is one you are comfortable with.
hope the chemo is kind to you Gillian. I have heard the weekly regime is more gentle than a three weekly cycle.
I i hope everyone has been ok while I have been missing.
It was very good. Of the 38 people travelling in my group 14 were single women, mostly travelling with a friend but all willing to join in as a group and chat. So there was always company when I wanted it, but also it was possible to find a quiet spot on my own if I wanted to be alone.
The food was superb.....far too much. Wine was included with our evening meal and flowed freely. Most of the cities we visited were beautiful, I loved Salzberg and Budapest.
In fact I'm going to investigate a different river cruise for next year.
That is such good news Lynda, as I think it must be difficult to book and go on holiday on your own. I am so pleased to hear how much you have enjoyed it, and meeting up with like minded people, who enjoyed the social aspect of the cruise, was a bonus.
I hope you did the marching round the fountain, and singing Doh, Ray, Me thing in Salzburg
Good to have you home safe, with lots of new memories, and hopefully some good photographs to share. Missed you.

I saw the fountain......but dancing and singing definitely not. Also saw the gazebo.....no singing there either!
When end I have downloaded them from the camera I will post a few photos.
hope you have a great holiday Chris. Where are you going?
So glad you enjoyed your holiday, Lynda, hoping to see photos when you can get them organised....
Chris, have a great holiday when you go....
Sister Snail, so glad you've worked Polly out, bless her!
Hugs xxx

Welcome back Lynda, hope you had a fab time.
Gillian make sure you enjoy the next couple of weeks lovely.
I had a fab day today, the school I used to work at did a fundraising sports day to raise money for Leukimea/lymphoma research. They were all amazing doing a sponsored skip, making and selling loom bands, a raffle. Also two of the staff did a two hour skipping relay, they were brilliant. Provisional total is £1,300, I certainly felt the love today, humbled by it all!
Have a good evening everyone xxx
