I don't know about the rest of you, but I'm a grease spot. Forget the sunscreen, I daren't venture out. So I've opened all the windows, put the fans on, and filled the freezer with strawberry white magnums and soleros! Please help yourselves, large jug of iced Pimms on the side. Feel like tipping it down my cleavage! X
Ooo, Mary, who would sup that iced Pimms out? Lol!
ice cubes down cleavage, definitely! I too have shut the curtains on the sunny side of the house, we have all fans going and still roasted. Begin to know how a chicken feels when it's put in the oven to cook, haha!
Stay as cool as you can.....
hugs to you all xxx

Don't ya just love junk emails and cold calls! Theyre so good for a laugh! I have £1.2million in an account in Russia! Can you believe it? And....my windows account has been frozen as there is a virus on it! That's twice today! I love playing this game! Tie 'em up in knots! X
I have googled why do cats move kittens & it may well be too hot for them there but to keep putting food in the usual place as she will more than likely keep coming back to eat,him indoors is more worried than me about her
Well i'm sure i'll soon be a shadow of my former self if this heat keeps up,i'm melting away
Gillian, how rude of me i didn't say thank you or wish you a lovely time in the lakes
hope all are well
xx
I just went for another shower, thinking it would cool me off.....yes it worked, but for three minutes only! Oh heck, this is England, we have to moan about the weather! Ice cold Pimms was lovely, thank you so much!
Sister Snail, Polly will do whatever she feels best for her kittens, there may be a little of the wild in her which makes her feel she wants to be able to see all round? I'm sure all will be fine as long as she keeps coming for her food and a bit of a fuss......
Mary, wish I won loads, even just in imagination!

I went to the hairdresser's today, and the thermostat on the car said it was thirty degrees outside. While I was getting my hair washed we heard thunder, and came out into the salon to see lightening, rain lashing down with heavy winds making it a real storm. Within seconds the thunder and lightening were happening together, and we knew the storm was directly overhead when huge hailstones started hitting the windows and crashing onto the road outside.
Withing twenty minutes the rivers flowing across the roads had disappeared and the footpaths were dry again. The only sign that anything had happened were the heavy iron manhole covers, that were all higgledy- piggledy in the road, causing a major hazard to traffic.
Wierd weather or what?
Blimey Chris, you had it all today,we've had nothing here except the sun
Polly has been back & eaten but we didn't see her,i know she'll be fine & will look after her babies,i just hope she brings them back here so we can get them safely to new homes
xx
Goodness, Chris, that sounds some storm! We too had just hot sun with a few clouds now and then, it's still really hot now.
im sure Polly will be ok, but as you say, you need to be able to get the kittens to their new homes when they are ready

Sister,
I am so sorry that Polly is not making it easy for you to help her, but cats seem to be very independent creatures, even when it is to their own detriment.
I hope you either find out where they are, or that she brings them back when it cools down. You have such a lot going on at the minute, and I hope everything goessmoothly and works out after all theefforts you have made. Hope you arevery successful inyour fundraising.
love and hugs
Chris xxxx
