There is talk on the community to try to arrange  a cruise don't know if it could be a river cruise. Are they very expensive especially if you had single occupancy. Still don't understand about both ways !

I'll be having nightmares now about hundreds of kittens in the garden & i do hope when we tip them upside down to look they have the appropriate bits to go with the names being bandied about this evening

Moomy can you not get round to the other side of the boat or is it not like a cruise ship. 

Seriously, Christine, I think I'd like to get to Budapest by train and then back on a river cruise rather than the other way. and there are a few companies like Saga who don't cripple single occupancy, though their prices are a bit high anyway. 

(and I'm not keen on looking backwards on a ship! lol!)

Be careful what you wish for we would probably end up with a river cruise on the Thames. Thanks for reminding me about expenses I am having problems with my form. the scan is so minute I don't think they will be able to read it. I do do technology but some aspects leave me totally confused.

The river cruises we went on were there and back again. You could get on top of the boat to see both sides of the river at the same time. River boats are much narrower than cruise ships because they have to get through all the locks.
