They are lovely christine.
Gillian I hope your ABs aren't making you feel as sick as mine are, and that you are able to escape soon.
not wet yet here today, just muggy and cloudy.
Hi all,
Lynda and Gillian, hope you are both improving quickly!
Chemo done, only one more to go now, it feels good being so close to the end. Getting closer to that rare steak, smoked salmon and blue cheese!
love Jakki xxx
Evening all
Gillian you really are going through the ringer,i do hope those angry bionics soon do the trick & you back home
Lynda,i hope that arm is improved & you feel better when you stop taking the tablets
Yippee Jakki, the steak & salmon are ok but i'll pass on the blue cheese,it's only allowed in my fridge if it has at least 4 layers of foil round it,hope you feel ok tomorrow & please wish hubby lots of luck from me & him indoors
Well what a tado we had here last night,Polly tried to get in through an open window in the room, not seen Pud move so fast in years,he was up there like a shot, lots of hissing, spitting & growling from both of said cats, good job we have some net at the window to stop stupid falling out or lord alone knows what may have happened,Pud was still carrying on moaning after we'd closed the window & the curtains
What lovely flowers Christine,i love to have them in the house but the only way i get them is if i buy them myself
I'm rather worried about him indoors,he's trying to download the sound of the tardis to use as his message alert on his phone, don't know why he can't have just a beep like mine & a lovely song as his ringtone
Meal out with the family tonight, yet another treat for the birthday boy, hope i get as much fuss when i'm 80,does anybody want a nightcap bringing home
xx
I just fancy steak and blue cheese......but I know i wouldn't manage to even finish cooking it before being ill. Roll on Monday when I hope to feel better quickly.
Ah, poor polly not being able to get in, and pud feeling threatened. Have you decided if there are going to be mini Pollys yet? Mine are still bringing me little presents, good game as I then have to chase round until I catch the little furry things......shrews.
Enjoy your meal.
Well looking at her fat, round belly i'm going with yes as i don't think a good fart will get rid of that,Polly has started killing tea for us now & leaving it in the middle of the lawn, she thought we'd enjoy blackbird the other night, when i was living with mum & dad we had a cat that put everything he caught in my work shoes
I have a fancy for lasagne but no doubt when i see the menu there'll be at least 6 things i want
We now have the tardis on the phone,i had to send him a txt to make sure it had worked
love & hugs to all
xx
Enjoy your meal out Carol. Aw Lynda rubbish to feel sick for so long, hope finishing those antibiotics brings rapid relief.
We just writing a list of food to take tomorrow, I am weird after chemo and sometimes don't know whether I'm going to like something until I take a bite, this can happen even with things that have been ok for previous chemos, we are taking enough to feed a small army lol.
have a lovely evening all nod keep your fingers crossed for a dry Oxfordshire tomorrow
love Jakki xx
Thought of Larry Grayson ( anyone remember him?) today, 'what a g(r)ay day'! It's been p***ing down with rain all day here, Bletchley Park was busy, people traipsing through with wet shoes, brollies etc! What with that and it being chilly too, the Bombe machine played us up and we were too busy to have time to investigate and fix!
Gillian, I hope they are tackling the possible clot as well as fixing the infection? Hope you feel better soon!
Christine, lovely flowers, I am sorry they are not allowed in hospitals any longer.....but they look beautiful!
Lynda, hope that arm behaves once you finish those anti-b's.
Sister Snail, what a pussy-cat saga! Hope they behave today!
Jakki, enjoy tomorrow, hope it goes well weather-wise for Gav
just pulled my baked loaf out of the bread machine, lots of butter, help yourselves to warm fresh bread....
hugs for you all
Moomy
I will have some lovely fresh bread even though I have changed my name LOL. Yes I remember "Everard shut that door!! "( that was Larry Grayson as well wasnt it.
Went to lovely local church today and placed some fresh flowers on Rays Grave It had finally stopped raining and they were doing a fund raiser for The performing Arts Group . I got my car washed for £3 pretty good job as well. Had a lovely cup of tea and sponge cake and brought some cup cakes home as well for a donation - just emptied what was left in my purse. There was also songs from the group of young people. I came home with spirits lifted.
I hope you don't get too many kittens.
Jakki good luck for tomorrow.
Gillian get home soon
lynda hope you soon feel completely well. Xxx
Oops, so sorry Christine, will go and edit it to correct!
And yes, 'shut that door' was another one, might have used that too, haha!
Hugs xxx
