Hi Gillian,
i i hope you are starting to feel a bit better.
those ABs are still running riot around my body, making me feel sick. Another 6 days to go.
I fancy pineapple and and ice cream for tea if anyone is going near a shop. horrid being on your own and ill......there's no one to run out and get things for you.
Good evening all
Bless you Gillian, hope you're on the mend & will soon be back in your own bed
Thank you Jakki,i took my nightcap up with me & dreamt of cabbages (see odd dreams)
Would you like fresh or tinned Lynda,i've put the tin from my cupboard on the side but if you want fresh i'll run to the shop & get one, well more of a trot than a run but it won't take me long to get there
xx
Evening,
What a beautiful day, just had tea in the garden; Greek salad, smoked mackerel and crusty granary bread delicious. I so love the summer! No chemo today hooray! (Having it Saturday so I won't feel too bad when I go to Blehiem to watch Gav do his triathlon on Sunday)
hope everyone has enjoyed the sunshine! How are you doing Gillian? Lynda is your arm any better?
Ben and Jerry's frozen blueberry yoghurt in the freezer, get it out 5 mins before eating so it can soften.
Love Jakki
Tinned is fine thankyou. The frozen yoghurt sounds lovely to go with it.
How lovely Jakki,i don't do tea in the garden as the neighbours tend to come out & talk to us just as we sit down to eat
Please wish hubby good luck for sunday & i hope weather is nice but not too hot for them
Him indoors is mowing lawns,he's saving up to take me to london for the day,i'm starving hungry & wishing he'd hurry up
Love & hugs to all
xx
We had dinner outside, too, bbq'd, lovely! Salad with it, and then as the BBQ was still hot, toasted crumpets....
hipe that tinned pineapple was ok for you, and that arm is recovering, Lynda, in spite of the yuks from those anti-b's
hope you are all ready for the threatened thunderstorms tomorrow?
Hugs xxx
Moomy
Ah Carol, what a thoughtful man you have! Bet that makes you feel loved.
Made me smile what you said about neigbours as I love it when wee man next door joins us for tea outside as happened yesterday. He grazed on the fruit and turned his nose up at the mackerel and Greek salad! He loved having juice poured from the jug into his water bottle, simple things.
Hope everyone has something nice planned today, my mum is taking me food shopping this morning as gav's car is kerput so he's pinched mine. BBQ this evening, think I may read my book outside this afternoon and have a lazy day before the busy weekend.
love to all Jakki xx
Hi, all. Lakeslover, what can I get for you? What would tickle your jaded taste buds? When I was house bound I did online shops. They let you do little orders, well about £25. I sympathise with the ABs, they don't suit me much, I haven't really repopulated my system after the treatment. I do hope they're doing the job though.
If you fancy some ice cream, I love Yeo Valley frozen strawberry yoghurt, deelish! Bit cool for sitting out today, the air is very still, and it's cloudy, feels a bit like a storm brewing!
Gave the old Barbie away as no one liked cooking on it, they loved the food, but hated smelling like a burger afterwards! Hubby flatly refused to cook on it, son in law was reluctant, so it went! So, no shrimps on the Barbie for me!
Very kind of you to offer but I have a Tesco online shop arriving this afternoon! Complete with pineapple and peaches. I used them a lot when Jon was ill and we were housebound. Mostly now I prefer to go shopping as it gets me out but not this week.
i had a check up with gP today and she says my arm has responded so well I can stop the ABs after 7 days instead of 10. so just have to suffer until Sunday.
I hope the sickness resolves quickly as im supposed to be going to London on Monday.
its still nice here today, very warm.
I'm a very lucky girl Jakki,he looks like a big hard man but he's a proper soft sod really, don't know how i'd have done the last few years without him, there are no little people next door, these are rather large people,i know they're only being friendly but i do like to eat in peace but it's nice to have a chat over the fence with a cuppa
I'm so pleased that arm is improving Lynda & that you're feeling well for your trip to london
Hope all have had a good day & have a pleasant evening,i know i will as it's cake & wine with the birthday boy tonight
Love & hugs to all
xx
