I have left a big bag of chocolate brasil nuts on the side if anybody wants some
xx
Well done Jakki, just two left.
its been cold and wet here today.
I love chocolate Brazils. In fact you've probably noticed I love all chocolate, (except drinking chocolate).
Thanks for the chocs.
I am afraid to say I privatised housework during my first lot of chemo. Hubby was trying to work full time, look after me and do the housework. So we did the sums and decided we cioud afford a cleaner once a week. It takes a huge weight off both of us, I don't feel bad because I cannot do it and Hubby doesnt feel obliged or worse get nagged. We can then enjoy being together rather than always having jpbs hanging over us.
sorry, keep having to edit, my typing on this tablet is atrocious
Hi Lynda, only chocolate i don't like is a mars bar,i always think of my friend when i have chocolate brazils,he used to buy me the biggest box he could find every year for christmas
I had mum & mother in law doing most of my jobs when i couldn't do them but you know what men are like "if you 2 will share the washing i can do the hoovering when i get home" so that's what they did, he still does it now sometimes & the other week when i was resting my foot i came downstairs to find him doing the cobwebing, please don't be impressed as he was using the hoover round my photos!!
xx
Ha Carol, sorry the yoghurt was for the fruit not your lady bits so it's not live, how are things downstairs today? Did you get the canisten?
Love chocolate brazils and will have one as I have decided yuck mouth does not exist in here.
Hubby on a bike ride, he is training hard for the Blenhiem Tri, so far he has raised 1,360 pounds for lymphoma Leukemia (sp?) research I am so proud of him. He does it on 14 June and I think there will be tears at the finish line.
Hope all is going well with the house Lynda, guess it's a bit of a waiting game now?
love to all Jakki xxx
Jakki have you tried Diflam oral mouth wash. It contains mild local anesthetic which helps numb the mouth so you can eat. I found it helped a bit. On prescription only.
Good luck to your hubby btw in his bike ride
Thanks Gillian, I don't have pain just lots of things taste disgusting for about 5 days including chocolate unfortunately! Typically fruit and veg taste fine but not biscuits and cake hey ho at least I'm not putting weight on, I lose on chemo week and put it back on non chemo week.
Are you feeling stronger lovely?
Yes good luck to hubby Jakki.
got my solicitor organised and a survey arranged so it's just a waiting game for a while now yes.
hubby used to eat starburst to get rid of yucky mouth.
