Good morning all, quiet this morning, did you drink all the amareto between you last night. Well I'd best brew up so that you can all have a strong coffee this morning!

Flash chat, ooh I think this might be the wrong site for that lol.

Gillian, I too love a good wedding, glad the day went well.

Well ladies I finally resorted to the bic on my head, had been buzz cutting but even that was looking silly. I've got a couple of really stubborn patches of hair and because it is quite dark they look silly against the rest of my bald head. I am now smooth as a baby's bum!

Have a lovely day all, happy lace anniversary Carol xxxx

Very brave Jakk. When I lost my hair I was lucky enough to retain a bit of a fringe which was good to pull out under a scarf.

TodayI am going out for lunch with the girls. It should be fun.

Have a lovely lunch, are you doing something nice tomorrow too before your op on Wednesday? Just popped in to leave some berries and yoghurt in the fridge, thought they'd go nicely with the sunshine. Xxx
  • Been baking again, choccy biccies available......plus plain ones for those few who are not keen on choccy, lol! I know they are odd shapes but they taste ok.

    Coffee is freshly made, too...

Gillian, enjoy your day, and everyone else too.....been watching the weather as daughter's two loads of washing were blowing nicely, now safe in the airing cupboard but needless to say, there is more out!

While out sitting in the garden there have been lots of baby birds sitting in our olive tree nagging to be fed! I sometimes wonder if the parents sweat under those feathers, they seem so busy!

    Hugs xxx

    Hi All,

Just popping in to say hope you are all ok , had a lovely journey to Wales today, managed to stop for lunch at a garden centre near Chester, and now getting ready to go out for a meal, its tricky when you can't eat and drink at the same time, but have bought a small bottle of whiskey so hubby can come back to b&b after the meal and have a small night cap so he doesn't feel left out, booked to go on a steam train tomorrow so hoping the weather kind to us this week, wishing you all well whatever this week brings. Thinking of you all xxxx

Have a fantastic time, hope the weather stays fine and that hubby enjoys his whisky.

Weather lovely here, just been and walked along the river to Chatsworth, very peaceful!

Then came back to a very grumpy teenager, he is in his first year of GCSEs and has a German exam on Friday which counts for 30% of his mark and because I am a terrible mother I have insisted he do some revision. Offered help too which made him even more angry lol. I have to admit I lost my cool too oops.

So I'm here for a cuppa and 5 minute chill before I bring in the washing and do dinner.

Kettle's boiled, teapot and coffee pot on the table if anyone fancies a brew.

    Xxx
