Hello everyone,
the title says it all, this is a thread for everyone at any and all hours of day and night, to post, help, laugh, cry and anything in between. There will be no nasty posts, everyone who joins in will be gentle, considerate and kind to everyone else. Hugs to all......xxx
Lynda,
We did that side this time we came the back way out of Grasmere and went via Skelwith bridge then Clappersgate, Hawkshead, both the Sawreys down to Newby bridge, we also love the quite side of Coniston, hubby's Aunt lived at Arnside on the Estuary for many years and we have had lots of lovely times visiting the area, hoping the sun comes out again soon and warms the temperature up, it has been so lovely of late that we have forgotten what the normal temperature feels like for this time of year.
Hoping your weekend is going well xx
Carol, I'm waving! Have a great time in sunny Derbyshire, I ordered sun for you but I'm afraid the request for slightly higher temperatures has been ignored so bring a cardi!
Christine, wow you are going to be a busy lady, some time ago I brought some pink ear muffs in, feel free to use them if you need some quiet, they are up there on the shelf in the corner.
Polarbear, a Great Aunt, fabulous news, enjoy those baby snuggles they are so precious. My great niece and nephew are 7 and 11 but still give great snugs!
I was supposed to be eating out last night for a friend's birthday. In the end I went and watched them eat! The doctors had done an iron level test instead of FBC so I didn't know what my neuts were and the restaurant only had a 2 for hygiene. I had a lovely evening and drank wine and had a nice cold pint of Guinness so all was not lost. Just wondered what you all thought about my decision, over-cautious or sensible? I am interested in knowing what people who have experience think as family and friends are great to talk to but you guys have all been there in different ways.
have a brilliant weekend all
love JakkI xx
Sensible, why put yourself at risk, its about enjoying the good company, not worrying if you will be ill after eating, a good decision glad you had a good time.xx
lovely drive. I live in Far Sawrey.
Jakki, im inclined to think it was a sensible decision with a low hygeine rating.
I love the lakes but haven't been since I was a teenager, my plan, after treatment, is to do the lakes and the Northumbrian Coast. My boys and husband have never been! I know, how dreadful. We have tended to do Wales, Devon and Dorset for our British holidays-time to venture further north.
Thanks for your reply, I find that my judgement/reasoning skills feel less good during treatment and it's good to get an idea of what other people would do.
happy Saturday
Jakki x
Jakki thanks for the earmuffs I think I will be putting them to good use.
it is the calm before the storm at the moment, some furniture has come but no people here yet. It is going to be hard but in a way it is good for me. I like to be busy and better still this has made me decide my future a bit more.
i am determined to travel round and see as many of you lovely people as I can and make lots of good friends on the way.
love to all xxxx
Hello everybody
Well i'm fair worn out & hopeing my cuppa will revive me ready for tonights quiz
Christine, are there people to go with the furniture yet,i have put an eye mask with the ear muffs so you can go somewhere & have 5 minutes & not see or hear what's going on
Polarbear,my mind has gone completly blank & i've forgotten what i wanted to say to you ,oh dear not a good sign for tonight
I'm waving back Jakki but my christenings not till next sunday & i feel like the worst kind of friend & godmother as i'm so not looking forward to going
