Greetings to you all.
There have been several requests lately to join the "Carers only" group. This is a closed group. To join you MUST have an open profile.
If you are a carer and have an open profile and wish to join please feel free to do so.

Best wishes Allyson x

    Hello Allyson,

I would like to join your group as I feel that you could all help me along this lonely journey, but I wont be able to as my profile is only open to my friends, for reasons of my own.

So although your group is a good idea I have been excluded for something so silly.

    Love Deb

Hi, I am a carer and thought it would be nice to chat to other carers, as it can be so lonely sometimes, just be nice to talk and read about others...Best wishes..xxxx

Just a thought Allyson. Does a member of this group have to leave if their qualification for inclusion alters?

I was trying to be delicate Allyson. But let us say for example they no longer fitted the criteria eg they ceased to be a carer.

I'm not a person well suited to being delicate, much prefer "In your face straight talking"
As for your question, I see no reason for anyone to have to leave the group purley because their circumstances change. We have several members who have never posted one word on our site and I feel they have no place in our group. A person who joins and takes part in our conversations etc will be most welcome to stay. People who were carers and now maybe aren't are still welcome to join, they have a wealth of experience and would be made very welcome.
If you would like to pm me please feel free.

    Kind thoughts
    Allyson xx
