This is the start of a new journey for me and my much loved friends from the original Oesophegus thread on general discussions.
We have become a close group and this will be our new home to continue our journey as life has become very hard for many of us and we keep re-living our journeys with lots of newbies which puts us all back a bit.
So my lovely friends Mel, Sam, Helen, Bern, Jac, Nic, Dawn, Sue, Cath, Lesley, Jani and the many other special friends Mel and I have made over the last 16 months this is it we have a new home.
Love to all and extra strength to carry us through our next stage XXX

Roch, I'm glad you managed to come on I know it's easy to switch off from here in those early days. I'm sure people won't mind you looking like Mike Tyson and people will understand, you talk about your Mum in such a wonderful way and she will no doubt be proud of the way you handled everything including being with her for her passing. I won't lie the uneral will be hard but remember your Mum's love will be with you and everyone here will be holding your hand. X
Mel, I am getting worried that you have not been around at all, I hope your okay hun I remember how things get harder and harder for the first few months thinking of you loads. X

Sorry to all my lovely friends, I was sooooooooooooo sick it wasn't even funny. Went to a kids party, got home and I wasn just throwing up and throwing up, even when there wasn't anything left.
I couldn't stand up, just moving my head was so awful, but today I woke up and I feel ok but weak.
Rushing round now, but will be back in a bit to catch up with you all properly.

Have just been speaking to hubby on the phone, as trying to sort out someone to repair my laptop, the one I had for my birthday last year and which I have now broken because I let it overheat! It is going to cost a fortune to repair it. Anyway, we were having this conversation and - I broke down in tears! About a laptop! What an emotional wreck!
Also, little one is off school today supposedly sick only he isn't really and is driving me even madder. Poor little thing, he just wants some attention from me but I have no patience whatsoever. Not with anyone or anything. It's all down to grief obviously but my god, I hate who I am at the moment. I want to tear my hair out, scream, shout, throw things. Yep, I have finally lost the plot!

Isn't your laptop covered under your house insurance? Ours is, and my friend even got hers fixed after she slamed down her screen in a temper and smashed it. She blamed the little one of course, so your boy may come in useful, don't sell him on ebay just yet !
Bern, was you thinking of a pink theme, or multi coloured? beause what Looney Mel was thinking was that you could tie a different coloured ribbon in your hair to represent everyone you are running for, and we could all choose our colours.
I know you are probably thinking 'As if I haven't got enough to do Mel' but I did say I was a looney, and I haven't suggested running with a load of balloons as a costume, or dressing up as a ninja Mushroom (yet) !!!

How well is Rochelle doing ? She is such a star. She has really thrown herself into planning a wonderful celebration of her Mum's life next week. I'm going to the Funeral and her Mum's resting place is really near my Mum's which is nice.
It cracks me up that the last post of the night is always Sam going 'Is anyone there?'
Sam we know you is a youngster but all us oldies need to be in bed at 9pm to get our beauty sleep. I think I will get Helen to change your clock so that you think it's 10pm when it is actually 7pm, then we can all share your wine.

I know Den is off attending a wedding, Bern is doing a 'Run forest Run', Sam is attending AA, Helen is throwing oranges, Wendy is reading page 4 of 15000 of 'how to care for your newborn', Lesley is counting the seconds til the end of school, Jac is making voodoo dolls of lorry drivers, Rochelle is planning a fabulous goodbye party and Sue, Dawn and Michelle are buying shares in Kleenex.
