    Sam,

I'm with Em and holding your other hand. Now I can't find Mrs Gummidge, as she is a baggage, as we know, and she has gone walk about.

Give yourself time honey. You don't forget that you loved your dad a lifetime so a few months will not mean that the pain stops. You take little steps honey. Day by day and when you feel tired you rest for a while before you raise your head and take another step. You cry and you write down how you feel. Just don't forget to think of your dad smiling. Think of the pride you felt for him all your life and especially when fighting this illness. Remember him smiling and his strength and dignity. It puts fire in the belly!!

Sam, it hurts so, cause you love your dad so. You did your dad proud and made him incredibly happy. You have a different relationship now, cause you can still hear him, with what he would say and in others phrases. You can see him with your minds eye and you can feel his love in your heart. Its different now, you just listen more with your heart than your ears when wanting to know what hw would want you to do.

Big hug brave lady. Don't doubt yourself. Don't beat yourself up. We are all here for you when you need us. Just don't hide away too long. Love Bern xx

PS: Don't think you could upset anyone. If you did, I am sure they will get over it. I'm always upsetting people. I asked a girl at a wedding on saturday, when she was due. She had the baby 5 months ago!! Oh no. Oh Yes, I did say that!! I asked as remember my mate saying she was pregnant, only reason, just forgot when he told me that!! X

Need to vent please ignore this post!!!!!

So I'm walking home from school as we usually do and as usual this child on his scooter is ramming the back of my legs, running into the girls and crashing into my double pushchair!!!! As the child has "special needs" I have bitten my tongue for a very long time but today I had just about had enough.

Why should I have to endure this as the mother thinks nothing of leaving him to it and staying far enough behid to pretend it's not happening. As we where passing over the bridge at the back of my house there is a narrow bridge with a tight road so I am very carefl with the girls and the pushchair and this child is scooting next to me on the kerb!!! So I turn and shout back to the mother I will not be taking responsibility for her child being run over.

Well that was it my blood was boiling by now as he chases my 10yr old down the bridge running into the back of her legs.

    Be back in a mo!!

Right so n the child follows my children onto my driveway and proceeds to ride his scooter around my BMW and Mercedes niether of which are cheap cars. I therefore ask his mother to remove the child from my property which then turns into a full blown row as this women tries to tell me i'm ignorant as he has special needs the upshot is it took over 20 mins for her to get off my drive wth her son!!!!

Now I am not ignorant to his special needs only his mothers constant lack of parental responsibility!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

UUUrrrmmmm not sure if I feel better yet but hopefully I will calm down now.

    Hello All

No I haven;t run off either and yes I'm busy at work too but the type of job I do is sometimes so intense and although I don;t get paid nearly enough I'm carrying it all around with me. Aneeeeway. My brother has moved into my dad's house which has been difficult for all of us but its different and we have to move on. Nic we went to Moulin Rouge last year it was very expensive but awesome everyone is packed in possibly a table for 2 they would squeeze in 4 or 5 but it was still worth it.

    Keep doing it!

    Lesley

    xx
