just wanted to say I'm a bit further along this journey than you......no wise words of wisdom I'm afraid....but wanted to say that those adorable, caring little people will help keep you going. Every morning i wake up wishing I could be with Pete but when I open the door to 6 smiling little faces all those thoughts disappear. Got mighty quin and his big sister here tonight and life seems like living again. They will be there for you and you for them.

I know it's a scarey road, not much less scarey 10 months on but the fact that I've got this far must prove I'm surviving!!!

Hi all

Yes I'm back but will post properly tomorrow when I've had a chance to catch up and see how everyone is. The holiday itself was lovely but I found it so hard because I kept seeing things that I wanted to tell Dad about and I missed calling him to see how everything was at home.

I hope everyone is as good as can be.

This is a health warning from the barbie house - the message that follows could seriously damage ur eyes, mind and well may bore u rigid.

But if u dont read i will be mortaly offended and will never eat a mars bar again - mmm ok maybe i change that to a brussel sprout - well noone likes them do they.

I would if i was u sit comfortably with a bottle of wine handy, prop up ur eyes with match sticks or super glue ur eye lids to u eye brows and have that happy place handy for ur mind to drift off to.
