We all get good as well as bad news, let's just post the news here....

Good news for me at least :-) I had my voice box removed at the end of June and 2 weeks ago I said my first word again... very croaky but still words... I am so please, as it is so isolating not to be able to talk, especially when you have done it all your life and suddenly can't, I still often pick up the phone and make a call then remember I can't talk... But it's coming and it's the best feeling the world to be getting my voice back :-)

Dear deer stalker Karen, just got back from a cycle ride with T, he is very variable with some pain at times, and his legs are still not too strong, but we did a good 8 or 9 miles, in lovely sunshine! Caz is ok, has been in London for a meeting today, down and back to her place by train.....her lymphoma is still stable, she will be having a scan in October when we will see if the chest nodes are still the same size, this last appointment was done with just the node in her neck to be measured, exactly the same size as in April. She feels very well, stamina is still not great so she does need to rest lots more than she would before she was ill, but she is still gaining a wee bit all the time.

my news is that we have just booked flights to NI so we will be seeing my little goddaughters Ava and Lily (I'm so excited)

This is when Lily was only a few days old. Ava will be 2 at the end of this month!

lovely, cute wee souls......am sure you will just love seeing them again....

We cannot wait to see them!! They are beautiful amazing little creatures!!! I sometimes look at them and just can't believe they exist! *gush gush* hehe sorry xoxox

My good news is that I just finished my first week back at work after being off sick for 7 months, it feels wonderful even if I am tired, just hope I can stay at work, more chemo next month.

The other good news I have is that I'm so glad I found this site everyone is so friendly, the chat makes me smile mostly, I know there is so much sadness as well but the support everyone gives each other feels like the sun shining every day.
