Thanks, Dot, she is and always has been just so up-beat, well except for when she had the intensive chemo and stem cell transplant, that was 3 years ago, time has gone both slowly and fast, if you can follow that....love and hugs....she just gets her head down. blinkers on and goes for it!

Helen I know just what you mean. Alan is just the same - when I wach him just now pottering about -getting to go fishing again!!! I can't believe that this time last year he was recovering from surgery and radiotherapy and about to start chemo. Everything happened so fast!! And now he just doesn't look like the same person!!! I have to say he does have his moments though - he's been a bit 'tottery' over the last few days - can't decide if he's doing too much or it's the heat (despite what he says about loving it) or something else!!!! Will wait and see - if i think he needs to go he'll be off to the GP. But otherwise he's at our Chemo Unit for a Zometa infusion on Friday so will mention it then.
