Hi, Nessie and welcome! But sorry you need to be here....
Mary, I guessed you would be getting some snow....poor you.....but it feels cold enough here too....
Patricia, I just sing (or try to!) its the others that play.....son is a cellist and a pretty good pianist too (is on daughter's CD as both of course!) hubs used to play piano accordion, but finds it hard now as his fingers have slowed up a bit, and the accordion is heavy too.
Well, today's concert went ok, the audience seemed to enjoy it....
No words from Caz today.......so she must be doing ok.....she bottled her lot of sloe gin yesterday and sent me a photo of the bottles, with lovely labels designed and printed off by her!
love and hugs to you all
Moomy
Hi Helen,
Hope Caz manages to get home safely from Huddersfield, I have been listening to the radio and it looks like this Artic weather is on its way love, so take care and wrap up warm if you are out and about, it is freezing here, I have never known anything like this for many a year especially in November lo!
Have a safe and warm weekend. (((((((((((hugs))))))))))) to you both.
Love Maryxxxxx
Patricia make sure you keep warm and safe too in these awful conditions, lets pray that next week is better for us all. ((((((((((hugs)))))))))))
Stay safe and warm, folks, it is so cold out there and we haven't yet had the snow!
Caz is busy beating me at on line scrabble, she's won one, and we have just started another game.....
two concerts done, two to go......love and hugs to you all
Moomy
Helen it was minus 5 here last night, almost warm compared to minus 17, bless those poor souls.
No snow since last night, forecast tonight though
Hope all went well today for you, make sure you rest tonight and put those feet up, oooo there I go nagging again
Have a good evening Helen.
Love and warm ((((((((hugs)))))))) for you all.
Maryxxxxxx
Not as cold here today, but the frost still hasn't completely gone.....and it is grey.......
Caz has decided not to travel south, but remain at home, sensible lass, as apart from the awful weather, it will give her bloods more chance to recover without her catching any bugs!
love and hugs to you all
Moomy
Today I had the usual pretty picture emailed of snow in her garden......she says that it is dry and fluffy so very easy to sweep off the path and her car!
We have had a small amount of snow here but our main problem now is the slight melt on the roads and a swift drop of temperature once the sun went down so there will be black ice on the roads around this whole area....cold wind too, brrr....
take care, folks, love and hugs to all
Moomy
Well, Caz reported yesterday that she went off for a hill walk, thank goodness she realised it might get dangerous in the deep snow and turned tail! She isn't as experienced as her Mum used to be in winter hill walking! She is now snuggled up under a fleece on the sofa, having had to get up early for a now cancelled photo shoot in London, she wasn't looking forward to having to dig out her car to drive to the station!
I'm not sure if I will need to brave the weather to get up there for Monday's treatment or not yet....if I go I hope the trains and so on are running ok! And that we can find a safe route into Manchester....
love and hugs to you all
Moomy
Dear Helen,
Just dropped by to send you some very warm (((((((((hugs)))))))) on this bitterly cold day.
I can understand Caz's need to get out and about, although I do agree not a good idea in these adverse weather conditions.
If you do need to travel to be with Caz, praying the weather improves for you love.
Love to you both
Maryxxxx
