Caz arrived safely and is having to drive down to London due to the tube strike today.
she's doing ok and is looking forward to the Dr Who show, one of the things she might have to do is be fitted for vampire-style teeth! lol! (we're looking forward to seeing it, too, on Friday evening!)
love and hugs to you all

Hi Helen,
Glad to hear that dear Caz arrived safely, hope you are not too tired from having to wait up for her.
oooooooooooo vampire teeth hahaha, bet she will just love them lo! So pleased to hear that she is ok love.
Enjoy the show on Friday Helen.
Many warm ((((((((((((((hugs)))))))))))) to you both.

I joked about those vampire teeth, she would have such a job playing trombone with them, hahaha! She thankfully says it's just for the crew, lol!
Feel much better after a long nap this afternoon, 4 hours' sleep after a really busy day with an early start too, plays with my head, lol!

Hi, folks, well, I typed a post last night but the site was so slow I ended up switching off instead!
Caz says the rehearsals are going well, she's obviously enjoying it all, looking forward to seeing the results! Not too sure how to travel, think we'll drive some of the way as trains all but stop around the sort of times shows finish in London, logical,eh??? but the tubes carry on mostly till well gone midnight.
BP yesterday was busy, not so much with the public as with the place being used for a conference (so the bosses were happy with revenue!) and also the architects going round checking out everywhere, they are getting plans sorted out for spending the lottery money (if we can raise a matching amount!)
love and hugs to you all in spite of a wet day!!!
Moomy
Dear Helen
We saw a bit on 'Breakfast News' about the Dr Who show........I think Alan is jealous!!! Have a lovely evening.........
Fund-raising is tedious at best and trying for match-funding is even worse (have done some fundraising in the past)......I hope BP succeeds in getting all they need....... Alan recently watched a programme on the History Channel (I think) about their activities during the war.....and SOE........very interesting....... If/when we reach MK area BP is the top of my list of places to visit....so we may bump into you..........
Hope Caz is doing OK - I know she is very busy - as always.......Being busy stops the thinking head from working overtime I find.........
Love and (((((hugs)))))

Just a warning, Dot, if and when you and Alan make it to MK and want to visit BP, do allow yourselves more than a day, the place is so fascinating and full, it's too much to take in for just a few hours, you'll certainly want more!
The private collections in themselves deserve a long time to see (we are even seeing more when we look around toys and memorabilia after about 5 weeks of opening it to the public!) and to do the whole place justice, you do need at least 2 days.
The Museum of Computing is at present only open 2 days a week, too, so if you are interested in that aspect, you need to check on the best day to see it.
As for money that they need, I suspect they could easily spend £30k, but have only been offered £6k by the lottery fund, of which over £1 will go back to HM government in VAT!
Sir isn't too bothered about Friday's trip, he's getting more house-bound in thought as well as finding it hard to push himself to go out! but I'm looking forward to it, didn't catch it on Breakfast TV but in any case, in spite of not being a complete fan, am a fan of someone who will be in it of course!
love and hugs to you all
Moomy
Hi Helen - thanks for the tip....i'll certainly keep plenty of time to visit. Having watched computers 'grow up' from my early working life in the 60s of huge computers in specially sealed rooms......... white coated/whited gloved operators to the latest palm-held devices I find the whole history of them fascinating......Alan Turing deserves more recognition than the odd documentary on TV!!!!
Alan is becoming - as your hubby - 'housebound in thought....' and doesn't often go out just now. I know the weather is changing and cooler but that never stopped him before. I'm finding it hard to persuade him to go for a walk round the park with Ellie-dog..... It's hard to know what to do.......... Even the lawn-cutting has stopped!! Although the grass is still a bit damp........I've suggested we do it between us when we get back from our hols. Failing that I'm in the market to hire a sheep.......
Enjoy tomorrow evening.........
Love and ((((hugs)))))) to you all
