Oh Moomy how lucky. I love the hot weather. It has been raining here all day and it is very windy.
The good news is I won't have to water my garden today and it is promised to be a lovely day here tomorrow.
By the way a hosepipe ban started here today. Here where 8 miles away got flooded in the winter.
Here where it rains more times than it doesn't. There having a laarrfff.
Lots of love Julie.
Julie, it's windy here too but no rain, the garden really needs it though, hubs and I have been watering almost 3 times a day, especially the fruit and vegs, brussels plants just wilt, they seem to hate the bright sun! Ah well.......... you obviously live in the wonderful north west?
Moomy

Hope the nights are a bit cooler, our windows are wide open and Silverstone is only about 20 miles away, we will get woken early by the 'choppers on race day, for sure.....ah well, I hope the weekend goes well and there aren't any crashes like 2 weeks back for Mark Webber, I am amazed he walked away from it!
love and cooling hugs to all

Hi Moomy yes I do live in the North West, on the coast of the Lake District. it is so cool here I have had to put my heating on and after having a £500 bill during the winter and chemo I thought I could forget about it until the autumn.
Ah well there are worse things in life and don't we all know it.
Love Julie X
But at least it is dryer there than usual, Julie! The coast of Cumbria, eh? Wow, we once looked at a property up there near a village, very pretty garden too.
Whew another hot night here.....had fans going all night! hope tomorrow's forecast storms actually do appear, think we need them to release the heaviness in the air.
love and hugs to all

Hi Moomy It is very beautiful up here but we pay the price. It isn't any drier than usual it has rained every day since the beginning of July. As soon as it came 1st July the rain started.
It has rained forcefully all night. Like i said how on earth the hosepipe ban is only in the Northwest I don't know. We had floods all winter and now rain again, just because we had 1 month of sunshine there is a ban. What a joke. News readers keep going on about the heatwave it feels like they are rubbing it in. I was so looking forward to a descent summer after being ill all winter. I guess I should move down south. My boyfriend is from London.
Anyway I hope you all in macland who live in the south enjoy the beautiful weather and don't get burnt. Have a great weekend everyone who can and to those who can't then I wish you a pain free weekend..
Lots of Love Julie X
Awww, Julie, I hope you all get a glimpse of this weather, then......we could happily share it! lol!
Just had word from Caz, she says it is good to have a more normal check out time.....today they are off to Warsaw!
love and hugs to all
Moomy
Hi Helen,
Hope it cools down for you soon.
Glad to hear that Caz is managing to keep in touch with her lovely mum, it will put your mind to rest that she is ok love.
Julie it rained heavily here during the night, although it is still very humid, cloudy and forecast thunderstorms later lo! I am in the North east, sorry to hear that you have had so much rain, when others are so dry and warm, hope it gets better soon in your neck of the woods.
Many ((((((((((((((hugs)))))))))))) to you all
